The role is working in a SEN resource base within the school so experience working with students with additional needs is essential. The right candidate will be an inventive and positive individual who has a proactive attitude and the desire to go above and beyond the call of duty. The hours for this role are 8.30 to 3.30 and the daily rate of pay starts at £93.48. Responsibilities include: - Effectively handling challenging behaviour and meltdowns using de-escalation techniques - Differentiating the curriculum to suit the specific needs and abilities of the students - Collaborating with the teachers and wider school staff to work towards the student’s Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) - Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment that focuses on the wellbeing of the students Requirements for this role include experience working with children or adults with SEND, caring and empathetic individuals, strong communication and written English skills, an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
