Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester Working Hours: Monday-Friday, term time only, 08:30-15:30 Position Overview: As a Cover Supervisor you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment for students in the absence of their regular teachers. You will oversee classes, ensuring that students remain engaged in their studies and follow the provided lesson plans. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the education sector or for those who have a passion for working with young people. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage classroom behaviour to create a positive and productive learning environment. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and support students in their learning. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times. Handle any classroom disruptions or disciplinary issues effectively. Communicate with teaching staff regarding any challenges or concerns. Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience working with children or adolescents is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and implement lesson plans effectively. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in the education of young people.
