The Axcis/nasen partnership

The National Association of Special Educational Needs (nasen) is the UK’s leading organisation supporting those who work with or care for children and young people with special and additional educational needs and disabilities. Nasen supports all staff including SENCOs, leaders, teachers, governors and teaching assistants in meeting the needs of the pupils in schools and other settings through promoting education, training, and development.

Nasen also reaches a huge readership through their journals: British Journal of Special Education, Support for Learning, Journal of Research in Special Educational Needs and the magazine nasen Connect. 

Axcis has been supporting nasen for a number of years and our relationship has gone from strength to strength. From sponsoring key events and exhibitions to contributing to publications and the SEND Gateway, a valuable online resource for SEND professionals, Axcis is pleased to be affiliated with an organisation doing such great work. 

Axcis Annual Charity

In addition to our long-standing charitable partnership with nasen, we also select a charity each year to support through Axcis team fundraising activities. From bake sales to virtual duck races, marathons and more, we're proud to support and work with Family Fund this year.

Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants to families on low incomes raising disabled or seriously ill children. Their work helps to ease the day-to-day pressures these families face, offering vital support such as kitchen appliances, sensory toys, bedding, tablets, clothing, short family breaks, and so much more.

Axcis is pleased to stand alongside Family Fund in their mission and commitment as they provide practical help and moments of relief to thousands of households across the UK. By fundraising across our Axcis teams and sharing their message, we hope to raise funds and awareness throughout the year to ensure more families get the help they need, when they need it most.
