Job Title: 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant needed for a Children's Centre in Lambeth
London - SE
A vibrant, culturally diverse inner city Nursery School and Children's Centre, providing rich and stimulating education and care for children Under 5 years are looking to appoint a SEND Learning Support Assistants to provide one to one support and care for children with SEND to enable them to attend nursery and build their independence. The Ideal teaching assistant will have some experience of working with children with SEND and complex allergies requiring a high level of vigilance and administering of medication. There will also be some element of manual handling. The Children's centre are looking for a teaching assistant who is enthusiastic, energetic and has the ability to implement consistent boundaries. You will also be able to build positive relationships, working closely with staff and parents in order to share detailed information regarding the child's day to day activities and health needs. This is a full-time role to start in ASAP and continue on into the next academic year.
