Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
SEND Support Assistant (1:2) – Mainstream Primary School, Isleworth A welcoming mainstream primary school in Isleworth is seeking an experienced SEND Support Assistant to provide 1:2 support for children in Year 2 with ADHD and behavioural needs. Key Details • Hours: 8:30am – 3:45pm • Days: Monday to Friday • Role: 1:2 classroom-based SEND support The Role • Support two pupils within the classroom and around the school • Manage and support challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent way • Set clear boundaries and maintain high expectations • Use a firm but fair approach to support focus, engagement, and regulation • Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to follow behaviour and support plans Requirements • Previous experience supporting children with ADHD and behavioural challenges • Confident behaviour management skills • Calm, resilient, and consistent approach • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.
