Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant
ASD Teacher Assistant | From £89/day | Tower Hamlets | ASAP Start | Full Time | Long Term Supply Axcis are pleased to be working with a Primary School in Tower Hamlets who are looking to recruit an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant. This role will be working with a KS2 student, supporting them on a 1:1 basis. The school has a very friendly atmosphere and a supportive environment and is well liked by all staff we have sent to them in the past. In this role, you will be expected to provide support, both in and out of class- assisting the teacher in delivering education programmes on both academic and social development. The role will include supporting the child during meal times as well as assisting with personal care where required. What we’re looking for: • Experience with working with young people with SEN, partially within KS2. KS1 is also suitable • Experience and happy to provide personal care • Working with a young person with ASD on a 1:1 basis • A positive, friendly and can-do attitude If you consider yourself to be an outstanding TA with a special needs background and have worked with children with special educational needs and disabilities, then this could be the job for you.
