Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Position: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Wandsworth, London. This role is vital in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their educational journey, fostering a positive and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASD, tailoring assistance based on individual needs and learning styles. • Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively. • Assist in creating a safe and engaging classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and communication skills. • Facilitate social skills development through structured activities and peer interaction. • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff to inform instructional strategies. • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to ASD.
