We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This role focuses on supporting children, particularly those with special educational needs such as autism, helping them thrive and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the teacher to deliver lessons and activities that cater to individual student needs.
- Provide dedicated support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they feel included and valued.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment, encouraging good behaviour and active participation.
- Support pupils with physical, learning, or sensory challenges, adapting approaches as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create and implement tailored educational plans.
Monitor student progress, sharing observations and feedback with the teaching team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children, especially in an educational setting, is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience supporting children with autism and special educational needs is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with primary education environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and staff effectively.
- A genuine passion for helping children grow and succeed in their learning journey.
