Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Daily Rate: £100 per day

About the Role
We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Bolton. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and keen to support young people in their learning journey.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set, while maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
Supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared work.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support pupils in completing their work and encourage positive engagement.
Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant teaching staff.
Assist with the smooth running of the school day where required.
Requirements
Experience working with young people in a school or educational setting (desirable).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confidence in leading groups and managing classroom behaviour.
Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
A genuine interest in supporting young people’s education.
