Job Title: Cover Teachers
Cover Teacher – Secondary Schools
Location: Tameside & Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90–£140 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)

The Role:
As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task. You will maintain a positive learning environment and uphold the school’s behaviour policies.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting students with their learning where required
• Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the day
Requirements
• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Confidence covering a range of subjects
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Two professional references
