Early Years - ASD - Westminster FT - London - Central - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Axcis Education is currently looking for a teaching assistant to work within a well-resourced primary school located in Westminster. The school's location makes it easily accessible by all modes of public and private transport. The staff are very friendly and supportive which helps create a very welcoming atmosphere, and in turn allows new starters to easily settle in. This role involves working with pupils with autism in reception/early years, and as such experience with lower year groups in a classroom setting is vital. Furthermore, successful candidates will be willing to commit to the role full-time, possess fundamental ASD experience, and be good at working in a team or by themselves. Any challenging behaviour experience is also advantageous. This role is a potentially long-term full time position, and consequently, the ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, patient and willing to learn.
- LSA / TA experience.
- Availability for the 8:30-4 hours.
- DBS, or willingness to pay £50 for a new one (if applicable)
- Early Years experience.
- ASD experience (necessary).
- Available for an immediate start.
- SEN experience
- Adaptable (can work in a team or by themselves if required).
