Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Bromsgrove (B60)
Contract: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Pay: From £89 per day
Start Date: December 2025
A lovely school in Bromsgrove (B60) is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The school offers a warm and nurturing environment and is seeking someone who enjoys working with young children and is committed to supporting their early learning and development.
The role will involve working closely with staff in the Early Years department, providing support across play-based learning, classroom routines, and small-group activities.
The school welcomes applicants with nursery experience, and is also open to candidates from care or support work backgrounds who have experience working with young children or vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children within the Early Years setting through play, routines, and guided activities
• Assist with communication, early literacy, and social development
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver a positive learning environment
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive space for all learners
Requirements:
• Nursery or Early Years experience is strongly preferred
• Care or support worker experience will also be considered
• Must be available for a full-time role (Monday–Friday)
• A warm, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
