Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Bristol for the full academic year starting in September. This rewarding full-time role will focus on supporting children within the school’s Early Years provision, helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally during these important early stages of development.

About the Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support young children during their early learning and development journey
• Work closely with teaching staff to create a nurturing and engaging environment that encourages curiosity, creativity and confidence
• Assist in delivering a bespoke curriculum that combines academic learning with valuable life-learning experiences
• Build strong, positive relationships with children to support their social, emotional and communication development
• Provide tailored support for children with SEND or additional learning needs where required

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with young children in an Early Years or nursery setting (desirable but not essential)
• Demonstrates a patient, nurturing and creative approach
• Can adapt to the individual needs of children, including those requiring additional support
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
