Job Title: Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Teaching assistant
Axcis Education currently require a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a full- time role in Upminster, Havering. Your New Role: This role is based in a mainstream primary school, which has experienced rapid growth thanks to its strong reputation in the local area. The school has a strong sense of community and students have received good grades in recent national exams. The successful candidate for this role will work both as a class teaching assistant and on a one-to-one basis with children with SEMH needs. Previous experience of working with children who present challenging behaviour, and with children who have difficulty socialising, is essential. Therefore, the successful candidate for this role will need to have a good knowledge of de- escalation techniques. Only candidates with previous experience of working with SEND children in some capacity need apply. Location- Upminster, Havering (RM14). Start Date- September 2024 Duration- Ongoing for 2024- 25 academic year.
