Job Title: English Teacher -Years 7-11
Location: SM5 1LW
Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Age Range: 11–16 years (Secondary)

Are you an experienced and qualified English Teacher with a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or managing challenging behaviours? We are looking for a committed English Teacher to join our dedicated team in a dynamic special school catering to students aged 11-16. This role is ideal for a professional who is reliable, enthusiastic, and driven to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
About the Role:
Deliver engaging and tailored English lessons to students in Years 7-11.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEMH or challenging behaviours.
Provide 1:1 and group support to ensure students reach their academic and personal goals.
Collaborate with a supportive team to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Be actively involved in the school community and engage with students through various activities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching English to secondary school students (Years 7-11).
Experience working with students with SEMH or managing challenging behaviours.
Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to student success.
A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
