Job Title: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in Bromsgrove
Location: Bromsgrove B60
Position Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Pay: Starting from £89 per day/ £13.86 per hour
We are currently seeking committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting SEN individuals. This is a full-time, long term position for a school in Bromsgrove to start this September.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a student’s learning and development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping young people succeed. This is not only a rewarding role but also a great opportunity to develop your career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN)
• Assist in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Support students' academic, emotional, and social development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff
• Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting individuals with SEN in the UK is essential
• Experience working with children with SEN is essential
• Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young people
• Committed to work full time: Monday – Friday (8.30am- 3.30pm)
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
