Axcis Education are seeking a teaching assistant for a role in a primary school, supporting a student on a 1:1 basis, who is a reception aged students and they are on the autism spectrum. The school, is based in Kirkham, on the outskirts, with plenty of on site parking but limited links to public transport. The school are looking for a long term teaching assistant, who is looking for a role supporting an autistic pupil, on a 1:1 basis, full time. The school are looking for a full time teaching assistant who has experience supporting children who are on the autism spectrum. The school are a small, inclusive, primary school that is Ofsted judged as "good". The role, will be full time and school hours are 830am - 330pm Monday - Friday. The role will require you to work with the same pupil, all day and you will be required to spend your lunch break with them, however, you will be given two breaks during the day. The role will start as soon as possible and candidates must have a child and adult DBS on the update service, or be willing to provide one. The candidate must be compassionate, empathetic, confident and hard working.
