Axcis is expanding it's candidate pool of Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a positions within welcoming and well-resourced primary school's in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional to increase opportunties for employment across the Bolton area.
The Role
You will be working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and school readiness.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
• Monitor, assess, and record children’s progress
• Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding procedures
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents
Requirements
• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent recognised by Ofsted)
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
Desirable
• Paediatric First Aid qualification
• Experience supporting children with additional needs
• Knowledge of phonics and early literacy development
