Job Title: Full-Time Classroom Support
Axcis Education is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school from September, working full-time, Monday to Friday, potentially long-term.
This is a role where you'll be supporting students with a range of needs — including autism, ADHD, speech and language delays and behavioural challenges. Some students may not have a formal diagnosis, but they’ll benefit from someone patient, observant, and consistent.
You’ll work closely with the teaching staff to support learning and manage behaviour, building positive relationships with both students and the wider team. The school values support staff and sees this role as a key part of helping students succeed.
We’re especially keen to hear from people who have:
#Experience in primary (KS1 or KS2), PRU or SEND settings
#Worked with children or young people in schools, care or healthcare
#A good understanding of additional needs and how to support them
#A child workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
#Training or qualifications in education or SEND are a bonus, but not essential if you’ve got the right experience and attitude.
Pay is £89-104 per day, depending on experience.
