Graduate Mental Health Support Assistant
Location: Radstock, Bath
Hourly Pay Rate: £13.69
Hours: 8:30-4:30
Contract: Part-time- 26hrs
Are you creative, resilient, and passionate about helping young people who need a different approach to learning? We're looking for full-time and part-time assistants to join a highly supportive SEN college environment for students aged 11–16 with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs.
About the Role:
• 1:1 and small-group support across academic, emotional, and social learning
• Facilitate forest school, arts, outdoor learning, and therapeutic activities
• Support students with trauma-informed strategies in a calm, consistent way
• Work alongside teachers, mentors, and therapists to meet EHCP goals
Who We’re Looking For:
• Experience in SEND, SEMH, youth work, or creative education
• Adaptable, patient, and confident in non-traditional, outdoor settings
• Great at building trust with young people
• Background in arts, drama, music, outdoor education, or therapeutic practice is a plus
