Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a recent graduate looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference every day? We’re looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive college in Bath City Centre, supporting young people aged 16–18 with autism and learning disabilities.
This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–4 pm, starting ASAP. It begins with a 16-week settling-in period, leading to a permanent position, and pays £13.70 per hour.
About the Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll be part of a specialist provision designed to help young people with additional needs build confidence, independence and life skills. You’ll work alongside experienced tutors and learning support staff in small, structured classes — offering encouragement, adapting activities and helping students to achieve their personal and academic goals.
This Bath-based college is known for its strong community ethos and inclusive learning environment. According to its most recent Ofsted report, it provides “a safe and respectful space where learners feel supported to succeed” and was praised for its Good quality of education and high-needs provision.

You might be a graduate in:
• Psychology, Education, Sociology or Health & Social Care
