Job Title: Hiring Now: Teaching Assistant – 1:1/SEN Support
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Pay: £83.40 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities
Axcis Education is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants (1:1/SEN Support) to register with us as we work closely with several schools across Stockport. We have a range of opportunities available, supporting students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and other additional needs in both primary and secondary settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored 1:1 support for students with SEN
- Assisting in classroom activities and behaviour management
- Supporting students with communication and social skills
- Working collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs
Requirements:
- Previous experience in SEN support or working with children
- A proactive, patient, and caring approach
- Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
