Job Title: Key Stage 3/4 Teaching Assistant in West Bromwich
JOB LOCATION:
West Bromwich
Axcis Education are currently looking for a resilient SEND Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in West Bromwich. This role involves supporting Key stage 3 and 4 pupils with a range of needs including behavioural challenges.
School setting experience is not essential as the school is happy to take on an enthusiastic candidate from a care/residential background. This is a full time position starting immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
• Create a supportive and motivational learning environment that fosters student independence and boosts self-confidence,
• Assist in delivering tailored lessons, modifying strategies to meet the individual needs of the students,
Requirements:
• SEND experience is essential
• A calm and resilient approach supporting children with Behaviour challenges
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents
• An enhanced DBS on the update service is essential
What We Offer:

• Pay: Starting from £89, depending on experience and qualifications
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am- 3.30pm
