Job Title: Learning support advisor
Location: OL10 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm Contract: Agency, Term-Time Only Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience) Agency: Axcis Education Axcis Education is working with a friendly and welcoming mainstream school in the OL10 area to recruit a learning support adviser to support pupils aged 11–16, including those with additional learning needs. The Role You will: • Assist teachers within the classroom and lead small group interventions • Support pupils with mild to moderate SEND, including ADHD and dyslexia • Help deliver differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs • Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons • Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment The Ideal Candidate: • Energetic, adaptable, and empathetic • Either experienced in schools or looking to begin your career in education (with a strong awareness of SEND) • Confident supporting children with additional needs in a mainstream setting • Passionate about making learning accessible for all pupils • A strong communicator and team player Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to gain valuable secondary school experience, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a highly supportive environment.
