Job Title: Learning Support Assistant, Kidderminster
We are currently looking to appoint 3 SEND teaching assistants to support between primary or secondary aged students who are autistic and have ADHD. Ideally, we are seeking to appoint as soon as we receive suitable applicants. These students all are very friendly and engage well with peers, however struggle academically and therefore have been given varied timetables with a mix of academic support and focus upon post-educational independent living skills, which are designated to help the young people grow in self-esteem and have independence moving forward. The setting is looking to appoint the 3 SEN TAs on a long-term basis in full-time roles, with the potential for a permanent contract if successful in position. Previous in-school experience would be beneficial, however experience from transferrable professions such as residential support is very welcomed. - You will be expected to work Monday to Friday during term-time only. The hours of work will be 08:30 until 15:30. - These roles will all be paid on a weekly basis at a rate starting from £89 (PAYE) per day, determined by experience and qualifications.
