Job Title: Learning Support Assistant, Secondary School
Axcis is currently supporting a mainstream secondary school in the Hall Green area which pride themselves on meeting every individuals needs. They are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a one to one support role. The successful candidate will work with a 11-year-old child with complex needs whom also needs support with personal care tasks. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30, whereby you will be the dedicated one one allocated to this young person. Due to the young person being male and having personal care needs; the school require a male LSA, and with this being quite a niche role you will need to be reliable with your timekeeping and attendance. With the child's needs in mind, experience in working with individuals with complex needs and being able to take on personal care tasks is essential. This is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference to this young person's learning and life.
