Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – College Setting (N17)
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming college in N17 on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in achieving their academic potential across key subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support for students across Maths, English, and Science
Work with learners on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce understanding and build confidence
Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Support students with additional learning needs, helping to remove barriers to learning
Encourage positive engagement, organisation, and independent study skills
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting students in an educational setting (college or secondary preferred)
Strong knowledge of Maths, English, and/or Science at a minimum of GCSE level (or equivalent)
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting young people in their education
