Job Title: Learning Support Worker
Axcis are working with a large, welcoming and well renowned college on the outskirts of Bristol who are looking for a learning support worker to work on an a part time basis, 3 days per week starting as soon as possible. The role will be working the hours of 09.15-15.30 and will be supporting students in different subjects, one being foundation studies and the others will vary based on the students’ timetable and you’re interests too – its very important to us and the college to match support workers’ interests and hobbies to the courses and support – we’ve found it makes a great deal of difference to the students and you alike! The college and I are looking for someone with a passion to want to help people, someone hardworking and adaptable, approachable and supportive and someone with a glass half full, can do attitude and so if this sounds like you then great! The college has great public transport links as well as a large staff car park and the pay is between £13.69 and £17.45 per hour dependant on previous experience and qualifications (if necessary). You will be paid a week in arrears every Friday term time only. To work in any educational setting, you must have an in date enhanced DBS on the update service and so if you already have one - great, if not, this will be at a cost of £57.00 to you for the DBS.
