**Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) – EYFS** **Location:** Rochdale, Lancashire **Pay Rate:** £95 per day (PAYE) **Working Hours:** Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM **Job Overview:** A reputable educational setting in Rochdale, Lancashire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) to support students within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners and will be able to confidently lead a class when required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement strategies and support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum. - Confidently lead classes on occasion, under the direction of the teacher. - Support children in both indoor and outdoor learning endeavours. - Encourage and facilitate learning through play, adhering to the EYFS areas of learning. - Provide personal care to students as needed. - Actively engage and interact with students to promote their social and educational development. - Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with children, staff, and parents. - Manage behaviors effectively and in alignment with the school’s behavior policy. - Deliver targeted phonics sessions aligned with the curriculum. - Recognize and address the needs of students with a variety of SEND conditions, including Autism and SEMH. **Qualifications & Experience:** - A Level 3 qualification (or higher) relevant to child education or care. - Thorough experience and knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. - Confidence in occasionally leading a class independently. - Substantial UK-based experience in a similar role. - An active DBS on the update service. - Hands-on experience and understanding of various SEND, including Autism and SEMH. **Skills:** - Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. - Confidence in managing classroom behavior. - A proactive and engaging approach to learning and play. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. **How to Apply:** If you are passionate about contributing to the educational journey of young children and meet the qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
