Job Title: Looking to work with children with mental health difficulties?
Social, emotional and behavioural difficulties teaching assistants required for September Axcis are currently seeking a resilient and patient individuals to work with students with SEMH at a special needs school in south Bath, full time and long term. Because of the nature of this school, we need people who have ideally worked with challenging children and have got experience in a school environment, although this is not essential. The school have a great team in place but due to the natural progression between academic calendars they have a current gap in their staffing they are looking to urgently get sorted and currently have a few openings they are looking to fill. This role will require someone that can really see beyond the behaviours and see the route causes to why these students react and behave the way they do. Both empathy and strong expectations at a balance are needed. We need someone that can work well on their own but also follow school policies and procedures well. This particular post is among their secondary aged pupils. So if you are looking for a school support job with a challenge guaranteed, this may be just the post for you.
