Job Title: Mainstream - Nursery/Reception
Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse – Mainstream Primary School
Location: Harrow
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
A thriving mainstream primary school is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team, working with Nursery and Reception-aged children. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and learning of young children in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the day-to-day learning and care of children in the Nursery and Reception classes.
Assisting with planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Observing and assessing children’s development and maintaining accurate records.
Providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Offering additional support to children with ASD, global developmental delay, or other specific needs (prior experience in this area is beneficial).
Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
What We’re Looking For:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Experience working in a school, nursery, or similar early years setting.
Knowledge of supporting children with additional needs such as ASD or global delay is highly desirable.
A warm, patient, and proactive approach to working with young children.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
