Job Title: Nursery Support Worker
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a Nursery Support Worker to join a school nursery on the outskirts of Hereford. This role will begin in September 2026, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, during term time only. Part-time hours or a job share may also be available. As a Nursery Support Worker, you will help support children during the early stages of their education. Some children may have Special Educational Needs, require personal care, or need additional support with communication and language development. You will work closely with the class teacher, supporting learning through play and providing an extra pair of hands within the classroom. Experience within an Early Years setting would be an advantage, although we are also keen to hear from applicants with other relevant experience working with children, such as care work, babysitting or other childcare roles. They are also offering Wrap around care hours for someone that is qualified in early years. The starting pay for this role is £14.25 per hour. More offered for the qualified role.
