If so, this could be the perfect role for you. About the role: We’re looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic College Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision for students aged 16+ with complex learning needs, autism, SEMH, physical disabilities and learning disabilities. You’ll support students in all aspects of their day – from learning and communication to developing independence and social skills. Some students require help with personal care, so confidence and sensitivity in this area is essential. The programme focuses on independence, community inclusion and practical skills for everyday life. The college has been recognised by Ofsted for its strong commitment to helping learners with high needs develop confidence, independence and employability in a caring, well-resourced environment. Staff are praised for their genuine relationships with students and their focus on personal growth as much as academic progress. Who we’re looking for: We believe the right person is more important than the perfect CV.
