Working as a supply teaching assistant may be the ticket and Axcis Education are looking for numerous people to take on part time work covering all things sickness related in school as teaching assistants. You'll need to be available when you say you are and be good at communicating and coming back to us when we need to get hold of you. Work will either be arranged with notice or it will be arranged on the day in question. Working hours can vary but the staple is 8:30-3:30. We are looking for people that ideally have some experience working with children, but the right attitude and personality traits are what we are really looking into. Children respond to kindness, empathy and patience. We need people with good boundaries, and the patience of saints! You'll need to be flexible and go where you are needed in school and be able to follow instructions set out by the teaching staff. The better the feedback you get from schools, the more work you'll get! We will ask you to complete some training courses online for free before we send you out to work so you are able to more confidently ingratiate yourself in school work whilst you gain valuable experience.
