The Role
We are seeking a highly organised, discreet, and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Head and Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal role requiring exceptional administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination within the school, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Head’s office.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to the Head
Manage a busy and dynamic diary, scheduling meetings and appointments
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing documents
Organise school events, meetings, and functions
Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information with discretion
Liaise with staff, parents, governors, and external partners
Support wider administrative functions as required
About You
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
A positive, flexible, and “can-do” attitude
Desirable
Experience working in an educational setting
Familiarity with school management systems
