Location: Smethwick (B66) Start Date: September 2025 Position: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: From £89 per day/ £13.86 per hour Contract: Long-term, opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate Are you a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant? We are currently seeking a SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school for this new academic year in September. This is a full time, long term role with an opportunity to go permeant with the school. You will be supporting the learning and development of pupils from the ages of 4-11 years old, with a wide range of Special Educational Needs. Key Responsibilities: • Provide personalised support for pupils with special educational needs • Assist in implementing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Support pupils' emotional, social, and learning development • Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Requirements: • School or nursery experience is essential • Experience working with children with SEN is essential • Calm, caring, and resilient approach • Strong communication and teamworking skills • Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to become part of a dedicated team making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
