Wembley, Full-Time - 8:30am–4:00pm, September 2025 Start We are working with a large, inclusive primary school in Wembley that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs within the classroom. This role begins in September 2025 and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. You’ll be joining a school that balances high expectations with a strong pastoral ethos. The team is experienced, well-organised and values support staff who are proactive, perceptive and consistent in their approach. Your primary responsibility will be supporting pupils with needs such as autism (ASD) and speech and language difficulties — often in a 1:1 capacity — so confidence in building strong, focused working relationships is essential. What you need to bring: • At least 3 months' experience supporting SEND in a UK primary school setting • A full UK Level 3 qualification (in any subject area) • Confidence working 1:1 with children, particularly those with additional needs • Comfortable supporting across the 4–11 age range • A calm, flexible approach and clear communication skills • Willingness to support with personal care when working in Reception, if required This role suits someone who: • Notices the small wins and knows they matter • Can follow routines but is quick to adapt when plans change • Builds quiet rapport with children who don’t always use words • Understands that supporting a child with SEND is about consistency, not shortcuts If you're looking for a role where you’ll be a steady, positive presence in a pupil’s day — and a valued member of a collaborative staff team — we’d love to hear from you. To apply, send us your CV and we’ll be in touch to arrange your registration interview.
