Behavioural challenges Your Role as a Teaching Assistant: - Providing 1:1 and small-group support to students with additional needs. - Assisting the teacher in delivering lessons and adapting materials for individual learning styles. - Encouraging students' social and emotional development through positive interactions. - Supporting students with emotional regulation, confidence-building, and behaviour management. - Helping to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. - Collaborating with SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), teachers, and external - professionals such as speech therapists and educational psychologists.
