Job Title: Qualified Classroom Support Staff, SEND School
Qualified Classroom Support Staff Required for SEND School We have a support staff vacancy for a teaching assistant with experience of working with individuals with a lead diagnosis of Autism (ASD) with range of different needs such as sensory processing, challenging behaviour and communication delays including non-verbal communication. This position is for an Autism specific all-age SEND school in the Shirley area. Job details: • Supporting pupils diagnosed with Autism, comprising of mixed needs such as sensory processing, challenging behaviour and communication delays including non-verbal communication • Working on a one to one and small group basis • Full time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) • Ongoing basis, starting ASAP, and going through to July 2024 Requirements: • Experience of working with pupils with SEND needs such as Autism - Essential • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential All applications must be submitted by 6pm on Tuesday 30th April 2024.
