Job Title: Qualified Nursery Assistant
Are you a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 or above) looking for flexible work opportunities? Axcis is seeking enthusiastic professionals for supply, day-to-day, and long-term roles in Taunton, with immediate start dates available!
About the Role:
We are proud to be working with a selection of highly regarded nurseries in the Taunton area, known for their excellent standards of care and education. We are on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join these welcoming settings on a full-time, part-time, or ongoing basis.
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday, flexible shifts between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
• Year-round availability (excluding bank holidays and a well-deserved break over Christmas)
• Competitive pay rates starting from £89 per day, dependent on qualifications and experience
Responsibilities:
• Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children
• Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Observing and recording children's progress and development
• Creating and leading engaging activities that promote learning and growth
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised setting
• Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers to provide feedback and updates
Requirements:
• Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education
• Previous experience working in an early years setting
• A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach to childcare
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
