Job Title: Reception Teacher
Location: Exeter Contract: Full-time, long-term Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm Start Date: ASAP We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and compassionate Reception Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EYFS or primary teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and creating a positive, nurturing learning environment. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive school team and will play an important role in helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Experience teaching within EYFS, Reception or Primary settings Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential A good understanding of anxiety, ADHD and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) Strong behaviour management skills A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and provide a safe, inclusive learning environment A DBS on the Update Service is desirable, but not essential The Role Full-time position, Monday to Friday Working hours: 8:30am–4:30pm Based in a specialist SEND school in Exeter Ideally available to start ASAP Opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives and education of children with additional needs If you are a passionate and committed Reception Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity within a SEND setting, we would love to hear from you!
