Job Title: School Administrator
Axcis Education is urgently recruiting for an experienced School Administrator to join a busy school office on a temporary/secondment basis. This is a key role supporting daily operations, SEND administration, and acting as a main point of contact for parents/carers.
The Role
Oversee day-to-day administration of the school office
Maintain and develop effective administrative systems and procedures
Manage statutory obligations for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Collate and submit data to the Department for Education and local authorities
Coordinate and support SEND annual review processes
Liaise with external agencies, feeder schools, and support services
Organise meetings, prepare documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping
Support communication with parents/carers regarding SEND reviews
Ensure all documentation meets required standards and deadlines
Requirements
GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
Previous experience working in a school office environment
Strong knowledge of school administrative systems and procedures
Experience using school MIS (Databridge desirable)
Confident with Microsoft Office and general IT systems
Willingness to complete First Aid training if required
Safeguarding
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Adherence to safeguarding, child protection, and whistleblowing procedures
