Job Title: School Support Worker
JOB LOCATION:
Ross-on-Wye
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a School Support Worker in the Ross-on-Wye area to start in September 2026. We work with a range of schools across the local area, offering both long-term and short-term opportunities.
We are currently looking for someone to work in a long-term placement, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, during term time only. There may also be the opportunity for a job share for the right candidates.
Your role will involve supporting a pupil with Special Educational Needs both in and out of the classroom, including time spent within a student support hub. You will help the pupil stay engaged with learning, build positive relationships with staff and students, and support teachers in adapting activities to meet the child's individual needs.
Previous classroom experience is not essential, although it would be beneficial. We are looking for applicants with relevant experience supporting children, young people or individuals with SEND.

The pay for this role is £14.25 per hour.
