Job Title: SEMH Art Teacher
Axcis Education are currently working with a pupil referral unit who are looking for an Art Teacher to join them on a fixed term basis from September 2024 to cover maternity leave. The setting has 25 pupils on roll and was rated as 'Good' by Ofsted in their latest report 2023. The setting has a catchment for local schools across North Yorkshire and has a great team in place that have a proven track record for supporting pupils back into mainstream schools. We're looking for an Art Teacher, ideally with experience of working in a similar setting, or a mainstream school with high levels of challenging behaviour, and someone that is equipped to work with pupils who need extra support with their learning and SEMH needs. The post is full-time, but hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.
