Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Position: Graduate SEMH Teacher
Location: Wandsworth, London
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm
Pay: £120–£150 per day
Are you a recent graduate interested in a future career in teaching, psychology, youth work, mental health, or behaviour support? Working in an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) setting is an excellent way to build hands-on experience with young people who need additional emotional and behavioural support. Axcis Education is currently seeking motivated graduates to work in SEMH-focused roles across Wandsworth.

Where You’ll Be Working:
• SEMH schools and provisions
• Alternative provisions (APs) and behaviour units
• SEND schools with SEMH-focused classes
• Mainstream schools with targeted behaviour or emotional support needs
What We’re Looking For
• A degree in a relevant subject (e.g., psychology, education, social sciences, sports, criminology, youth work)
• A strong interest in mental health, behaviour support, or working with vulnerable young people
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Patience, resilience, emotional maturity and a willingness to get involved
• A calm, nurturing, and supportive approach
