**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teacher to join our dynamic team in Sutton, London. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled educator who is passionate about making a positive impact on children with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
**Responsibilities:**
- Plan, deliver, and assess inclusive and engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH difficulties.
- Create a supportive and structured environment that promotes emotional well-being and resilience.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and positive learning experience for all pupils.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop tailored education plans.
- Utilize a range of interventions and resources to foster academic, social, and emotional development.
- Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed to support individual achievement.
**Qualifications:**
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
- Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing student well-being
