Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire Tenure: Full-time, temp to perm Axcis Education are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH teaching assistant to work on a 121 and whole class basis for an SEMH provision based on the outskirts of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The provision is specifically for students who have been excluded from mainstream schools due to challenging behaviour and specific learning needs resulting in them not being able to be taught in mainstream schools. You will be required under the instruction of the class teacher, to support pupils on an individual 121 basis and whole class settings with their learning and emotional needs, and also ensuring that the classroom in prepared for lessons and supporting in keeping pupils on track with the learning. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:30 and offers the chance to become a permanent position.
