In this role, you will support pupils with SEMH needs to overcome barriers to learning, develop self-confidence, and engage positively with their education. You will provide both academic and emotional support, working closely with class teachers and pastoral staff to deliver tailored strategies that promote pupil progress and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or young people who have SEMH or behavioural needs, ideally within a school, PRU, or alternative provision. Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or Learning Support Assistant is highly desirable, but we also welcome applications from those with backgrounds in youth work, psychology, or social care who have transferable skills.
