We're currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA/Teacher to join our team in London. The role involves working closely with SEN students in a college setting, providing them with the support and encouragement they need to thrive in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist SEN students in understanding and completing assignments across various subjects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement individualised learning plans tailored to meet student needs.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Monitor and report on student progress, working closely with parents, guardians, and specialists.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in supporting SEN students within an educational setting (preferably college level).
- A patient and empathetic approach with the ability to build rapport with students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or degree in education is desirable but not mandatory.
