Job Title: SEN Teacher Assistant
Axcis are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Southall, supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs (SEN) ranging from SEMH to non-verbal ASD. The role involves providing 1:1 support for students from Reception through to Year 6, working closely in line with their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP). Key Details: Location: Southall Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Contract: Full academic year commitment Responsibilities: -Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with a range of SEN, including SEMH and non-verbal ASD. -Work closely with the SENCO to develop and implement strategies in line with EHCPs. -Assist with developing students' social, emotional, and academic progress in a nurturing and supportive environment. -Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure students' needs are being met.
